The walk
This one is officially classified, officially open, and officially undescribed. The tourism board has no page for it — the status list says a description is coming — and the IFCN table gives one line: 1.8 km, Rabaçal to Túnel do Cavalo.
So that is what we can tell you honestly. It runs from the loading chamber on the ER 105 to the tunnel that the PR 6.6 comes through, which means the two together make a continuous route between Rabaçal and the Caldeira side.

Do I need a licence for PR 6.7?
Yes. Every visitor over twelve books an entry slot on SIMplifica, the regional government's portal, before walking, and pays €4.50. Madeira residents, children aged twelve and under and people with a disability of 60% or more do not pay, but still register.
